Will Logan represents the law in a small town somewhere in the deepest provinces, where the clocks tick very differently. One day the peace is over, because when a horribly mutilated corpse is discovered at the harbor, the town threatens to drown in blood. A clue that the perpetrator left on the dead body eventually leads the sheriff to a crime that took place years ago, in which a lynch mob made short work of two brothers. The corpses keep piling up, and gradually Logan has to ask himself whether something unnatural is at work here, brutally slaughtering the town's residents.

RIVER OF DARKNESS not only features a powerful ensemble consisting of several WWE wrestlers, but also dresses its bloody splatter moments in a patchwork construct consisting of slasher and supernatural horror elements. A small shocker in the tradition of great classics.
